According to our friends at pspupdates, Europe is now Ubisoft’s biggest market.
First, our money - the pound or the euro - is very strong and because of that the turnover from those countries is heavier than they used to be. So for Ubisoft turnover Europe is actually more important than the US now, and by more than 5 per cent. It’s become a very strong market for us. - Yves Guillemot, Ubisoft’s CEO.

What a great way to start the day - we’ve got the new and confirmed PAL packshot for Resistance 2, and it’s looking good! Sadly it won’t have the lovely Three Speech watermark on it in reality, but we’re sure you’ll get over that. At the moment Three Speech particularly likes the reflected neon Diner sign - very spooky…
We’ve also heard that the PEGI rating for this title still hasn’t been confirmed, so keep your eyes peeled for more info on that. Let us know what you think of the cover art in the thread…

Loads of exciting and interesting announcements were made at Leipzig earlier in the week. One that particularly interested Three Speech was about EyePet.
The mechanical or virtual pet has been a popular idea for a number of years now, first in fiction and latterly in reality with variations on the theme like Tamagotchi and, more recently, Sony’s AIBO. EyePet will live an a virtual version of your sitting room, taking up no space and costing you nothing in vets’ bills…
