Hey all, as the password for the servers has already been posted in the PlayStation forums we have decided to take the password off ThreeSpeech1 and throw it open. But we’re keeping the password on ThreeSpeech2 so hopefully we can always get a game together. See you in the skies.

Guys, there are going to be two dedicated Three Speech Warhawk servers - one is up now and ready to be used under the server name ThreeSpeech1, with the second server to follow very shortly.

Maximum number of players per game is 32, with a minimum of 8 to 12 players depending on the game. Each seperate game will last 15 minutes with a cycle of 8 games in total.

Please email us to get the password for the server and we will get back to you.

EDIT: The second server is now up under the name ThreeSpeech2 with the same password as the first for those that have the password already. For those that don’t please get in touch. Thanks.

To celebrate the coming of Warhawk, we will be hosting a small Three Speech server especially for you regulars, offering a mix of different maps and game types for you to get a grip on the game.

It’s a great opportunity to get a game with those you talk with via comments, and if that doesn’t attract you then the option of watching a person that has previously annoyed you on site explode into smithereens should just about tempt you.

All you have to do is find the server named ‘ThreeSpeech’ in the list. Come play. It’s there now…

Following is a statement from Sony regarding the DRM on Warhawk…

Statement

In order to protect our investment in this ground-breaking game and maintain our ability to offer a 24-hour free online gameplay experience, SCE will be utilizing an alternative Digital Rights Management (DRM) policy for the downloadable version of Warhawk. The downloadable version of Warhawk, which will be available from the PLAYSTATION Store on Thursday 30th August, will be directly tied to the registered PLAYSTATION Network (PSN) account that purchased the game. Only that registered PSN account will be authenticated for gameplay. You will still be able to download the game to up to five PS3 systems. However, if a user downloads Warhawk onto a different machine, he / she will only be able to play via the original PSN user account on that machine and could not play on a different machine for 24 hours. This does not affect the Blu-ray Disc version of the game which will be available at retail later in September.

PlayStation have just issued the following announcement

“We have just received information that the next PS Store update, which will contain Warhawk, will be Thursday 30th August and not Tuesday 28th August as previously announced. As you know Thursday is the usual day for our PS Store refresh. We are sorry for any inconvenience that the extra 48 hours wait may cause.”

This is now confirmed for PSN release on August 28 for £19.99 UK or €29.99. The Blu-ray/Jabra headset bundle will follow at retail on September 21 for
£39.99.

Some confirmed/almost confirmed release dates for you…

Warhawk They’re “aiming for” for August 28 on the PSN, at what we think is a very decent price of £19.99. The retail version, bundled with a Jabra bluetooth headset, is due September 21 at £39.99.

Heavenly Sword is due September 14.

Folklore - TBC, but the plan is October 12.

Lair - Also TBC, but the plan is October 26.

For those who haven’t yet heard of, or don’t know much about Warhawk – it’s a fast, online multiplayer game – fighting team or deathmatch based battles over the gigantic maps in vehicles, on foot or using pre-built equipment (i.e. anti aircraft guns). It’s set for release via the PlayStation Store and on Blu-ray disc (which includes a Bluetooth headset) this month.
