You may remember the Folklore competition we ran a link to a while back on Three Speech to design a character for the game. Well the winning design has been chosen and goes by the name of The Malion.
Check here to take a look at the entries and the winning character. Some great designs in there. The judging panel consisted of the Game Republic team and Okamoto-san who are now in the process of transforming The Malion into a Folk that players will soon be able to download via the PLAYSTATION®Store and use in-game.
Ever wanted to have an input on a game? Perhaps your very own character? Now is your chance. Game Republic, the developers of Folklore, are looking for one more Folk to add to the game. All you’ve got to do is design a Folk, illustrate it, give it a name, write a description and finally say what the unique attack is that the player can absorb from your Folk. If you’re looking for some inspiration, it might be an idea to check out the new demo on the Playstation Store.
They will be judged by a team at Japan’s Game Republic studios, including Yoshiki Okamoto (producer of Devil May Cry, Resident Evil) and the winning entry will be transformed into a real Folk, and put up for download on the PlayStation Store.
If anyone does enter this could you send us your work as we’d love to see it.
