Word from PlayStation in the UK is there’ll be further announcements in the build up to the launch.
In terms of what they’ll be: info on number of units to be shipped? Info on specific retail launch activity? Potentially, as suggested by many of you, info on ‘extras’ to be made available at launch? We’ll keep you posted.
Absoutely about the extras (Casino Royale, MotorStorm, hdmi cable), i hope.

About 20Gb model…no, I think Sony only want to sell us the expensive SKU (60Gb) to financing the japanese and american cheap version and discounts (do you remember the price of the 20Gb model in Japan?…335€….)
Sony won’t see any money for me even it will lunch the 20Gb model

Yeah i hope we get some very generous “extra’s” here in europe.. The delay was a kick in the nuts for us.

Dont care much about freebie, tbh. What I _really_ want is ProEvoSoccer for PS3, but thats not gonna happen so soon, I suppose.
Also would be nice to hear a word about Eye Toy HD and Eye of Judgement and Singstar. I want some non-conventional gaming :p

the 20 gig models weren’t selling nearly as well as the 60 gig, makes sense there wont be any as its pretty much a waste of sony’s money.

Forget the europe launch, I wanna know why bestbuy increased the price of ps3 to $700cdn. We were asking for a price drop not a price upgrade!

although i hope for a generous gift too, i wont set my wishes too high folks. its sony we talk about. it should be more than just a BD movie. we are paying a lot more then the rest. we ve waited longer, they even said we dont care about the delay WE would buy it ANYWAY just because its sony. i want more from them for abusing my trust in them. who likes to get ripped off? i want a BD film, 2 free downloads and a second controller. but they dont care about what i want ^-^ the ppl from UK are more qualified for this kind of demands, they are paying most. are we euros an unwanted stepchild for them? 5o€ for a controller? 5o$ in the US? i did not steal from sony why are they trying to make me pay for others mistakes ~ ___ ~

yes as previosly mentiones Casino Royal is a must. You promote the Blu Ray player possabilities of the PS3 with that film and push the BR format as the PS3 further and somehow you push sales of LCDs /Plasmas TVs and thats a good thing in europe. Europe need HD standard FAST. Thank you Sony for delievering the edge of technology with a decent price und furthermore push technologies in good old europe.

Actually it seems us poor bastards in sweden will be paying the most (perhaps the other countries as well). According to the greedy vd of the distributing company Nordisk Film, the PS3 will cost up to £500 in sweden!!!
