Wonder what that “LIVE” thingie means on the last screen. Some kind of observer mode maybe ?
And any words on a replay system ?

Fighting games need to go online NOW. I’m glad they at least releasing a update to play online. I think virtual fighter 5 should do the same.

RE: Kasper Skov
It is probably the voice funktion.
Sources say that you will be able to use your own voice to pshyc out your opponents.
Cool huh ?

Tekken is the kind of game that can translate online very well. The only thing that will suffer are Just Frame moves. But it’s true that with a engine so simple it will work.
On the other hand, Virtua Fighter is doomed to be without online. There are too many techniques that depend of just a few frames. Things like ETEG (Evade TrowEscape Guard) just to mention a few, would become a mess with the smallest amount of lag.
The only way that VF could become a online game is if SEGA CHANGE ALMOST THE ENTIRE ENGINE!!
If SEGA turns VF into a simple game like Tekken, I don’t think I would like it anymore.

Finally TEKKEN meets it`s true purpose, Vs play has always been a huge + on the Tekken games.
Maybe LIVE means that you canwatch fights from other people as they are being played?

A fighting game online? Yikes, I wonder how they’re going to deal with latency issues. They aren’t normally that big an issue for online games (see first-person shooters and the like), but most games don’t have the absolutely split-second reactions of fighting games, where a 100ms delay makes the difference between a crucial counter and a loss.

And about time too. The store version felt like a cheap rip off of the beautiful PSP game. Looked beautiful yes but was missing all the bits that made the PSP version a must.
Sony / Namco you’d better not be charging us for the pleasure of this. As over the last 2 years I’ve spent far too much money on Tekken 5.
