Harmonix are also working on downloadable content for Rock Band to be released sometime next year. Unfortunately Europe will have to wait till early next year for the game as its only being released in the US this side of Christmas. We would be bothered, but with the sheer landslide of games crashing our way through November and December, it shouldn’t make that much of a difference.

Pixies “Wave of Mutilation” in the 2000s?
Shirley some mistake!
Good choon though.

Wasn’t it re-released due to a movie?
Looking forward to Rock Band. I am rather disappointed with GH3. Occasional frame rate drops on both “Next-Gen” consoles. No FL support?! No fix for the backwards compatibility for GH1 & 2. Basically I feel Guitar Hero missed it’s mark by a long way and I’m hoping this game will fill that gap. After all it is by the original makers of Guitar Hero.

Only thing stopping me from purchasing rock band - the high price point!

@ 1 - You are totally right?? Didn’t spot that one. Amazing record though.

Pre ordered from international deliverers Barnes & Noble.
Cant wait for this awesomeness!
And long live PS3 region free goodness - It’s currently got a fair few 360 owners a bit peeved that Rock Band on 360 isn’t Region Free.

@5 - careful of import costs, so far anything over £20 value imported from stateside has caught me having to down to the local post depot and fork out “another” £20 to get it.

I notice MGS$ is delayed again…

Wave of Mutilation was recorded in the 80’s.

ok list, surprised there aint no Muse on here though because matt bellamy is an awsome guitarist and would have gone great with this game, maybe on the secret tracks though.
Comment by BENNE77 — Oct 31, 2007 @ 1:57 pm
Or could be that because they appear within Guitar Hero 3 - made an exclusivity deal for the tracks with neversoft?
Comment by JohnSketch — Oct 31, 2007 @ 2:27 pm
@ BENNE77 - it is dissapointing, but Knights of Cydonia is in Guitar Hero III which could explain why.

I was hoping for some Queen, or at least Simon & Garfunkel.
Oh well, maybe for DLC. There’s going to be a new album every week, after all.

Pretty good line-up.
Was Bon Jovi’s “Wanted Dead or Alive” not in the 90’s though?
Do we know if Rock Band will have downloadable content?>

Currently the stiff price point is holding me back, so I might get Guitar Hero 3 instead merely for the sake of not spending too much money.
And I too would like some Muse songs to play - that’d be great. Map of the Problematique would be a lot of fun, I’d imagine!

[…] For those of you interested in the upcoming Rockband game, there is now a track listing available . Rockband is pretty much like Guitar Hero, apart from you get drums and a mic to add to the mix. Not for me but some of you with real world friends may dig. […]
