It would appear that Call of Duty 4 for the PlayStation 3 is scoring very well from all reviewers.
Check out the scores and the reviews.
IGN 9.4 out of 10
GameZone 9.6 out of 10
Cheat Code Central 4.8 out of 5
1UP 9.5 out of 10
GameTrailers 9.5 out of 10
GameTap 9 out of 10

Dont try changing the subject and quickly getting rid of the 2.0 post. We knew you stupid morons are SCEE were confused and trying to get things right, but this is simply an embarrassment. I am officially ashamed of ever buying a PS3, because Sony can never get anything right.

Shut up NICK you fool… Go back to the other post and moan there….
I am looking forward to this game very much… are there any differences between the PS3 and 360 version?
Comment by DaveTheRave — Nov 7, 2007 @ 4:36 pm
If the ps3 version is scoring that well - what difference is there between it and the 360?
Comment by JohnSketch — Nov 7, 2007 @ 4:38 pm
There is no difference. All those websites are publishing the same reviews for games across all platforms.
If there is a glaring issue with one platform or another, then they make not of it in the review proper.
Sony is starting to advertise cross-platform games like this as Sony-only games . I saw a TV spot for the Simpsons game during Heroes on Monday that said the game was available on the PS3, PS2 and PSP, without mentionning the other platforms.
I’m not sure if Sony is the one paying for these ads or what but there seems to be a whole masking the competition blitz thing going on..

All is fair in Love and marketting Rask!
If Sony pay for the adverts there is no obligation for them to show any Xbox360 connection.
If the publisher pays for the adverts, then it its in their interests to highlight all the platforms the game is coming out on.

PS. ThreeSpeech, your server’s clock is still running on daylight’s savings time.

Carl, the 360 beta featured quite a lot of lag too, probably your connection
this is a good thing, a PS3 version just as good as the 360 equiv, no lesser framerates, and just as high resolution, though apparently the PS3 ver is running at 720p not 1080p as advertised on the box, but that’s just as good as the 360 version
I saw the Simpsons PS3 only ads too, i think that’ll be EA’s own choice to be honest, they want big userbases on each console so they can sell more games, and PS3 is struggling to pass the 8mil mark by end of the year…i bet John Ritichello has been pretty pissed at Sony over the past year so it could be they added to his marketing budgets a little, but EA hardly have a shortage of cash
that said, i bet the 360 ver of Simpsons still outsold the PS3 ver comfortably
but things are definately looking up in PS land, Ken had to go, the CTO jsut got shoved, but hey they got forced to drop their pants on price - good for us yet to invest
ICO team on the bus and i buy…and they announced God of war 3 yesterday too

I’ve noticed a few game adverts on TV that only have the Sony brands on them. Kind of makes up for all the 360 branded ones earlier in the year I guess.

i heard there are no major differences between the two
so really, for people with both it comes down to things like…controller, online…and if you care, achievements
i prefer the 360 controller and i played the beta a lot and was impressed so i am gonna go 360s way…and also the limited edition is only out for the PC and 360 as well, and i want that S.A.S, 2 and a half hour documentary
