We have five spaces for Three Speech readers to go and view a demo of Unreal Tournament 3 on the PlayStation 3, given by an EPIC employee, this Thursday (08:11:07) in Birmingham. Bar industry insiders you will be the first members of the public to view the game in the UK. There are also lots of other UT3 happenings on the day, so there will be lots to see.
You would need to get yourself to gaming haven Omega Sektor, which is at 98 Corporation Street in Brimingham for 12:00, with the demo starting at 12:30 and lasting half an hour.
Send your name to [email protected] if you would like to go in the draw and five names will be selected randomly tomorrow afternoon.

I would love to go to this but no way I am getting to Birmingham for a 30 minute play. And what is the reason of giving a demo of a game that has been delayed for 3 more months, maybe they are hinting of a xmas release, I for one am hoping so.

Are you serious?
The amount of people who moaned about the PES demo not arriving until after retail, and now you might get the chance to play a game months before release and people still complain!

Sounds good, but the car is in for a service so I’m booked in at the office all day. Nice to see some movements on the UT3 front though, hope somebody can report back to us on how it plays.

I may have phrased it wrong. If they got this demo why not release it through PSN, they released the PC demo about 6 weeks ago. If my pc was up to spec I would by the PC version without a doubt, but now I got my heart set on playing it on my LCD in HD.

A lot of people seem to misunderstanding this. Read it again.
At no point does it say you will get to PLAY the game and, in fact, the word ‘view’ appears twice. Travel to birmingham to, esentially, watch a trailer?

OMG, I’ve never won anything before in my life (I’ve got in as someone couldn’t make the train for tomorrow). I happen to be at a show at the NEC, but I’ll excuse myself for an hour and miss lunch!
(Which is bound to be good as the whole event is costing me £300!) ouch.
Still, to get the chance to see / play UT3 is worth it.
